This product update provides information on a financial advice service we have made available for members of Colonial First State FirstChoice Employer Super and FirstChoice Wholesale Personal Super and Pension (FirstChoice products). This information updates the Product Disclosure Statements (PDSs) dated 16 November 2024 for each of these products.
Designed primarily for members without a financial adviser, we’ve made it easier for members to access personal advice in relation to their account with Super Advice*, a limited advice service.
Super Advice offers a financial health check, or one-off advice on investment options in relation to your FirstChoice product account. The Super Advice service will also soon offer contributions advice and simple retirement advice only, each as one-off advice related to your interest in the FirstChoice products. You will not be charged an additional fee for using Super Advice. The cost of the Super Advice service is incorporated in the overall administration fees and costs of each FirstChoice product.
If you already have a financial adviser, it is likely the advice you’re receiving is more comprehensive than Super Advice and we encourage you to speak to your adviser.

*Super Advice by CFS Advice Services:
Avanteos Investments Limited ABN 20 096 259 979, AFSL 245531 (AIL) has appointed CFS Advice Services Pty Ltd ABN 52 682 119 651, AFSL 564571 (CFSAS) to provide one-off limited personal advice on specified topics to members of FirstChoice Superannuation Trust who access the Super Advice service. AIL and CFSAS are both members of the Colonial First State group of companies. CFSAS holds a financial services licence to provide personal financial product advice, and its financial advisers act under this licence when providing advice services to members. CFSAS is responsible for financial advice provided to you under the Super Advice service. Before you receive a financial service from CFSAS, you should read the Financial Services Guide (FSG) issued by CFSAS.
