Most of us know what to do when something goes wrong with our physical health. Mental health is harder to read — the signs are quieter, and the right moment to act is less obvious.
October is Mental Health Month, and CFS' insurance partner AIA is presenting a free 30-minute webinar in partnership with Beyond Blue, a leading mental health and wellbeing support organisation. It's open to CFS members, and you're welcome to join.
Clinical Psychologist Luke Martin will walk through what Beyond Blue is seeing across the country — the trends in how Australians are faring, what's driving them, and where the opportunities sit to build and hold onto good mental health.
It's a general session, not a clinical one. You'll come away with a clearer picture of the national landscape and some practical ways to think about your own wellbeing and the people around you.
Your health and your financial future aren't separate things. Periods of poor mental health can affect how long you work, how much you earn and what you're able to put away.
