Keep in mind

  • You can also search for your other super accounts through the myGov website
  • It’s important to consider whether you’ll lose any existing insurance cover after consolidating your super and whether your remaining cover is sufficient.

What you'll need

Task steps

  1. Log in to your account using your Member ID (OIN) and password

If you have forgotten your Member ID (OIN) or password, you can retrieve your login details online.

  2. Click 'My account' in the top menu

  3. Select to use our 'SuperMatch' tool

  4. Request a FirstNet code to get started

A temporary SMS code will be sent to your linked mobile phone number.

  5. Enter the SMS code on the screen in the empty field and click 'Submit'

  6. Select to search for your other super

By selecting 'Search', you are giving us consent to act on your behalf and use your Tax File Number (TFN) to search the Australian Taxation Office’s (ATO’s) database.

  7. Select to see your results

You will first be shown a total estimated balance of all super held in your name, as well as a list of superannuation accounts, the individual balance of these accounts, your account number and the insurance status.

    You’re all done!

You can now see all of your active super accounts, as well as your total super balance.

If you have multiple accounts, you can consolidate them by transferring your super into one single account. If you have a financial adviser, we recommend that you speak with them about whether consolidating is the best option for your situation
