You'll receive a score out of 3 based on the information you provide. Your score reflects how well your super is set up across three key areas: investments, contributions and insurance.
If you score 3 out of 3, you're on track. Keep up the good work, and check back regularly to make sure your super continues to meet your needs. If there are areas for improvement, we'll highlight them and suggest where you can get personalised guidance and take action.
We may recommend a review of your current investment options to help you stay on track for the retirement lifestyle you want.
We may recommend a review of your contributions to make sure they support your retirement goals.
We may recommend a review of the insurance cover held within your super account to see if it is suitable for your circumstances.
A super health check is a review of your super that looks at your experience, behaviours and account to provide a financial assessment. It helps you understand how your retirement savings are tracking and identify opportunities to make the most of your super.
There’s no extra cost to complete your super health check. It’s included as part of your membership with the FirstChoice fund and funded by the trustee.

No. A super health check is not financial advice. It helps you understand how your super is tracking for retirement by considering your current account, financial situation and goals. It may highlight areas where you could benefit from further guidance or advice.
If you'd like personalised advice about your super, you can complete the super advice modules and speak with a qualified Colonial First State financial adviser. They can provide tailored advice to help you make informed decisions about your super.
The super health check assesses your personal situation and determines how well you’re tracking for the retirement you want. If you are not on track, you will see the areas of your super you can focus on to get back on track.
