FirstNet Terms & Conditions

You will now be granted access to our secure FirstNet website.

This will over-ride any previous requests regarding access.

You have been issued with an Member ID (OIN) and password. It is your responsibility to keep them secure and confidential and not disclose them to anyone. It is your duty to notify us immediately if you believe that your Member ID (OIN) or password have been compromised or if your FirstNet account has been accessed by an unauthorised person. If you allow anyone else to use your Member ID (OIN) and password, you are responsible for that person's activities (including if they make changes or execute transactions under your Member ID (OIN)).

FirstNet transactions will bind joint signatories

If you hold a CFSIL or AIL account with joint signatories, actions that one of you undertakes on FirstNet will be treated as a joint action that you have all consented to. This would include, for instance, updating contact details and accounts online, applying for, redeeming and switching investment options and setting up automatic functions such as a Regular Investment Plan (RIP).

We will rely on the information you give us

It is your responsibility to ensure that you give us accurate and complete information and tell us if your contact and account details change. If you send us instructions via FirstNet we will only act on complete, comprehensible communications that do not appear to contain errors.

FirstNet may not always be available - ensure you get a transaction reference number

We may take FirstNet off-line from time to time. There may also be a loss or delay in the transmission of instructions or transaction details for various reasons. If you are using FirstNet to send an important communication to us, please ensure you receive a transaction reference number as evidence that your communication has been received. We are not responsible for non-receipt of a transmission.

Please verify information on FirstNet before relying on it

Whilst we will use reasonable steps to ensure information on FirstNet is accurate and up-to-date, we cannot provide any guarantees. There may be delays in our receiving and updating information on FirstNet. If there are any government fees and charges incurred by us in relation to use of FirstNet, we may debit these from your account.

Information about FirstNet may be provided through other channels

Our products are governed by their own terms. Those terms, and other instructions you receive from us, may contain information regarding how to use FirstNet. Please ensure you comply with those requirements as well as these Terms and Conditions.

Information on FirstNet has been prepared without taking account of the objectives, financial situation or needs of any particular individual

For this reason, before acting on the information on this site, you should consider the appropriateness of the information, having regard to your objectives, financial situation and needs. Before making any decision to apply for, obtain or continue to hold any product or service, please consider the relevant disclosure document and talking to a financial adviser.

Advisers, dealers, accountants and master fund administrators must have authority to act

Advisers, dealers, accountants or master fund administrators may delegate access to FirstNet. If you are one of these, it is your responsibility:

• to use FirstNet and delegate access in accordance with your legal obligations; and
• to inform us immediately if there is any change to, or termination of, your authority to act on behalf of your client, proper authority, license or status as an authorised representative or authorised officer of your company.

If you delegate access to FirstNet Adviser to another person, you will be fully responsible for that person's use of FirstNet Adviser under that delegation.

In addition, we can withdraw or restrict your access if your client instructs us to do so.

The privacy of your personal information is important to us. Any personal information that you provide, or that we receive, through FirstNet will be handled in accordance with our CFS Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time.

The use of FirstNet is also bound by the “terms of use” as defined here.

We may amend these Terms and Conditions at anytime by posting the amended terms and conditions on this website. We may require you to accept any amended terms and conditions in order to continue to use FirstNet.
