Super advice is a form of intrafund advice—simple, personal guidance provided by your super fund about your existing account. It’s designed to help you make informed decisions about your super. Unlike ongoing advice, Super advice is a one-off service focused on specific topics like investment options, contributions, or retirement strategies.
There’s no extra cost to access super advice. It’s included as part of your membership with the FirstChoice fund and funded by the trustee. That means you won’t be charged a separate fee for receiving advice, making it an affordable way to get help with your super.
Advice is provided by qualified Colonial First State advisers. You will start with a digital fact find to answer a few questions related to the topic you want help with. You will hold a one-on-one session with an adviser who will create and present your advice during the meeting, and can support you action your strategy when you're ready. You can access super advice via the “Financial Advice” section on FirstNet Investor.
If your needs go beyond what super advice can offer, your adviser will refer you to another advice solution within Colonial First State—such as one-off advice or comprehensive advice—so you can still get the help you need.
