The Code of Ethics establishes the foundational values and standards financial advisers are required to demonstrate and promote, to encourage higher standards of behaviour and professionalism across the industry.

Part 2 in our Ethics series explains the intention and structure of the Code, and the responsibility advisers have to uphold their legal and ethical obligations in relation to it.

Nidal is a Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Accountants. He helps to educate the next generation of financial planners in the areas of ethics, financial planning, corporation law and tax in his role as an adjunct lecturer at the University of NSW and Macquarie University.
