At 3pm on 14 November 2022, we suspended transactions on this option and Avanteos Investments Limited, as the trustee and in accordance with the trust deed will close the option on 16 December 2022. This means we haven’t been able to process applications, switches, rollovers or redemption requests for this option received after 3pm on 14 November 2022.
Why have we closed this option?
In our monitoring and review, we look at the number of members who hold the investment, ratings from professional researchers, performance and fees, and the total funds in the option. We decided to close this option since the Responsible Entity of the underlying investment fund notified us that it believes it will not have sufficient funds for the investment manager to continue to implement the investment strategy over the longer term so will be winding the fund down.
What's next?
For those invested in the option, we will switch the value of your investment at the closure of the option into the First Sentier Investors Strategic Cash option within their account effective 16 December 2022.
If you are invested in this option and would like to reinvest this money into a different option within your FirstChoice account, please contact us by either:
- uploading the completed investment switch form online via e-Post in FirstNet;
- completing an investment switch form and returning it to us by mail; or
- calling us on 13 13 36.
