More enhancements

Sign on Glass is also now accepted. Your clients can provide their consent using their personal electronic device and are not required to print or scan paperwork.

To make client consent even easier for you and your clients, all forms approved for electronic signatures* are now accepted with single-factor authentication. Two-factor authentication remains available if it is your preference to authenticate forms with the additional layer of security.

Keep in mind

Single-factor authentication and two-factor authentication verification use your client’s current email address and mobile phone number, so please ensure these details are up to date.

Adviser contact details cannot be used in place of client contact information.

There are some forms or transactions, including change of bank details, where we may need to make a security call to your client to verify their identity or instructions. This is to protect against potential fraud.

What you'll need

You’ll need to have your own subscription to the electronic signature vendor of your choice in order to use this process, unless using the Digital Communications Tool via FirstNet Adviser, which remains unchanged.

See complete list of approved forms for FirstChoice and FirstWrap.

Here's how

  1. For single-factor authentication, the email address or mobile number will be used to verify the consent of the client. For two-factor authentication, both the email address and mobile phone number will be used to verify the consent of the client.

  2. Download the form from our website and use your electronic signature provider to have your client electronically sign the form. Ensure SMS authentication is enabled if you wish to use two-factor authentication.

  3. When the forms have been signed and completed by your client, download the document. It is important to ensure that the electronic certificate/audit trail has been included with the form in one PDF document.

  4. Upload the document via e-Post ensuring that the Certificate of Completion with Envelope ID, Final Audit Report with Security Panel Banner or security certificate are included.
